OASIS-ORDO TEMPLI ORIENTIS
Coph Nia Oasis was born in August
of 1984 in Eugene Oregon. We are the first and oldest OTO body in
Oregon, and one of the oldest chartered bodies in the United States.
Designed to be a lightning rod of magical will, the lodge
serves as a meeting place for aspirants from all points in Central
Oregon and beyond.
The members of Coph Nia Oasis
are diverse in spiritual and religious nature. We are Men and Women who
are pledged to the high purpose of securing the Liberty of the
Individual and his/her advancement in Light, Wisdom, Understanding,
Knowledge and Power though Beauty, Courage and Wit, on the Foundation
of Universal Fraternity.
We freely pursue any areas of
occult or magical workings that interest us. Classes, which are
sponsored by the Oasis and taught by a variety of instructors, are
available to members and the general public. Our studies and practices
vary as widely as the personalities of the individuals in the group.
Many of Coph Nia's rituals and
celebrations are open to non-members. Please consider yourself
invited to write to us if you have any
questions, comments or concerns.
We do not proselytize, compete or convert, but we are here as a

Our name comes from Liber Al Vel
Legis, The Book Of The Law, Chapter III, verse 72:
I
am the Lord of the Double Wand of Power; the wand of the Force of Coph
Nia-
but
my left hand is empty, for I have crushed an
Universe; & nought remains.
One interpretation of this is the
balanced use of solar and lunar currents in our magick; another is the
force of the Kundalini as it rises; there are many others.
Coph Nia Oasis' magick can be
found in its celebration of the Gnostic Mass, our Initations, our
observance of the Thelemic Holidays, and our work as sovereign Stars as
we strive towards greater understanding of our individual Wills,
through interaction with diverse other individual Wills.
